Kathy Parent brings high-level executive project management and fiscal oversight experience to the OST Alliance. Following a distinguished career as PMO Director at Nike, Inc., Kathy combines corporate strategic planning, process execution, and resource allocation expertise with a deep academic foundation in Early Childhood Education from Southern Oregon University. As Treasurer and Founding Board Member of the OST Alliance, she directs financial governance, budget alignment, and long-term fiscal strategy to ensure organizational sustainability and scalable growth.
A proven leader in program development and cross-sector partnership building, Kathy serves as a critical bridge between corporate operational discipline and community-based youth advocacy. She expands on her commitment to regional youth services through her parallel role as Treasurer for Washington County Kids, maintaining continuity and strong governance through the evolution of the local out-of-school ecosystem. Her work focuses on establishing robust operational frameworks, cultivating strategic partner networks, and managing resources effectively to maximize the impact of regional provider programs.
Guided by her dual background in early childhood development and enterprise program management, Kathy believes that sound governance and strategic investment are essential to creating lasting outcomes for children and families. She uses her financial and operational expertise to equip providers with the structural backing needed to expand high-quality, equitable out-of-school programming across Washington County.
